PURPOSE: To stably preheat the upper nozzle by constantly maintaining flowing direction of air in an upper nozzle during preheating of tundish in a direction in which the air flows to the outside of tundish from tundish. CONSTITUTION: The suction dummy nozzle (10) comprises an upper member on an upper part of which flange is formed, the inside of metal outer layer of which is formed of refractory material, and in which a hollow part corresponding to the upper nozzle (4) is axially formed; and a lower member comprising a water jacket on which a hollow port having the same diameter as the hollow part is formed, which is connected to a lower part of the upper member, and through which cooling water is circulated, and an air ejection pipe which is formed in a ring shape at a central part of the water jacket and equipped with an injection nozzle for supplying high pressure air, wherein an inserting guide rail (14b) into which the flange of the upper member is capable of being inserted is formed on a lower part of the tundish, wherein a locking member is projectingly formed on an outer part of the upper member, and the suction dummy nozzle is mounted on a moving means equipped with a hook to which the locking member is locked so as to move the suction dummy nozzle, and wherein the moving means comprises a cooling water tank, a heat exchanger connected to the cooling water tank and equipped with a fan (32a), and a pump (31) for circulating cooling water (30) to circulate cooling water to the water jacket of the lower member.
