<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shearing strength of joined part by increasing production amount of intermetallic compounds having high ductility. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for joining different kinds of metals with laser beam, with respect to a first metallic plate 3 and a second metallic plate 4 having different material qualities which are held in a non-contact state, after only the first metallic plate 3 is heated by emitting the laser beam, the heated part of this first metallic plate 4 and closely attached to the second metallic plate 4 with a press-contacting roller 15, and both metallic plates 3, 4 are joined by applying plastic deformation, and the joined part between the first metallic plate 3 and the second metallic plate 4, is cooled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
