<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling needle assembly of excellent operability which can easily and certainly cover the tip of the used interior needle and provides high level of safety when it is disposed. <P>SOLUTION: The indwelling needle assembly 1A provides the interior needle 31, an interior needle hub 32, a protector 4 which can move relatively to the position covering the tip 311 of the interior needle 31, an exterior needle 21, an exterior needle hub 22 and string member 5 to prevent the protector 4 from coming off from the tip 311 in the direction of the edge with its tension when the protector 4 moves relatively to the position covering the tip 311. The string member 5 is inserted through a string through-hole 413 formed on the protector 4, the base 51 of the string 5 is fixed at the inner needle hub 32, and the edge of the string member 5 is in the hollow of the exterior needle 21 in the assembly and exists on the outside of the interior needle 31 along the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
