<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide food and drink useful for promoting fat combustion, enhancing basal metabolism and improving obesity, when ingested. <P>SOLUTION: The food and drink contain hydroxycitric acid or its salt, and carnitine or its salt, and/or a precursor thereof. The precursor of the cartinine contained in the food and drink comprises any one of lysine or its salt and methionine, or both of the lysine or its salt and the methionine. The food and drink further contain coenzyme Q10.
