<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic locker system enabling the efficient use of an electronic locker as a whole without losing the convenience of users as far as possible. <P>SOLUTION: In this system for managing a plurality of electronic lockers 11a, 11b, 11c, ... having one or a plurality of storage chambers, and reservation designations for any electronic lockers 11a, 11b, 11c, ... are accepted from users and the reserved locker numbers of the electronic lockers 11a, 11b, 11c, ... are notified to users by electronic mails. When sending matters stored in the electronic lockers 11a, 11b, 11c, ... are not accepted under reserved conditions, the sending matters are collected and moved to load storage places 14a, 14b, 14c, ... such as a lost property storage place and stored for a specified period.
