PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold 1 for molding a golf ball, constituted so as to easily discharge air. SOLUTION: The lower mold L of the mold 1 is equipped with six gates G, one pole vent pin P, three support pins S, three first fixed pins F and three second fixed pins (f). All of the support pins S, the first fixed pins F and the second fixed pins (f) are intermediate vent pins. The latitudeθof the center of the intermediate vent pins is 45-85°. The support pins S can advance and retreat with respect to a cavity and the pole pin P, the first fixed pins F and the second fixed pins (f) are immovable. Longitude lines having the center values with the longitudeϕof one gate and the longitudesϕof the other gates adjacent to one gate are center longitude lines M and the respective center longitude lines M cross at least one of the intermediate vent pins S, F and (f).
