LABEL FORMING METHOD ON OPTICALLY WRITABLE LABEL FACE OF OPTICAL DISK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical marking mechanism having a fast speed for completely writing an image on a label face of an optical disk. SOLUTION: The label forming method on the optically writable label face of the optical disk as one embodiment of this invention includes at least one of the followings. Firstly, there is such a step in this method that the optical marking mechanism is passed through multiple times on the track of the optically writable label face of the optical disk so as to write into this track during each pass (passing through) by the optical marking mechanism. Secondly, there is such a step in this method that the optical marking mechanism is advanced to the next track from this track so that the start position on this track is not on the same straight line in the radial direction as the start position on the next track on the optically writable label face of the optical disk.
