<p>An ISO container has a steel framework (1) and external cladding (8). Within the container, supported on bottom bearers (11) extending between lower longitudinals, is a liquid containing vessel (12). Insulation (13) is provided between the container and the cladding. The vessel is of flat stainless steel panels. Curved fillets (21) are provided at each junction between the panels. The top (19) has a central access hatch (22). The bottom has a shallow V-shape, complementary to the bearers. A drain valve (24) is provided at one end of the V, for emptying contents from the container, and an air vent (25) adjacent the central hatch. Three-dimensionally curved internal stiffening members (31) are welded to the inside of the side and top panels (14, 19), the curvature of the stiffening members enabling them to be readily cleaned.</p> |
