PURPOSE: A brush assembly of a motor for a vacuum cleaner is provided to prevent a commutator and the motor from being damaged by a spring for pressing a brush by preventing the spring from being separated when the brush is worn. CONSTITUTION: A brush assembly of a motor for a vacuum cleaner is composed of a holder(161) fixed to one side of a motor housing, a brush supporter(162) coupled to the motor housing, a brush(163) installed in the brush holder, and a spring(164). The spring elastically presses the brush so that one end of the brush is in contact with one side of a commutator. The brush supporter includes a stopper(162c) for preventing the spring from being separated when the brush is worn.
