PURPOSE: A filter guard of a range hood is provided to prevent wrong operation by moving an interlocking body stably, and to assemble and manufacture easily by protruding spring assembling pieces at both sides. CONSTITUTION: A filter guard is composed of an interlocking body(20) having a grip part(23) bent in a body part compressed and made of a metal sheet, plural assembling pieces(21) longitudinally formed, guide pieces(22) bent outward at both sides, and a spring assembling piece(24); a case(30) containing the interlocking body, moving back and forth and having a protrusion(34) formed in a front wall(31), spring assembling pieces(35) at both sides and guide pieces(39) formed at both side walls(38) and bent inward to support and guide the guide pieces of the interlocking body; and a spring(36) fixed to the spring assembling pieces of the interlocking body and the spring assembling pieces of the case to apply elastic force to the interlocking body.
