PURPOSE: A compass for measuring 24 basic geographical directions with improved accuracy is provided to enable both nonspecialists and specialists in the theory of division based on topography to easily understand the principle of the compass through scientific measurement and to advantageously use the same without professional knowledge. CONSTITUTION: The compass for measuring 24 basic geographical directions comprises: a front surface defined by 16 layers produced by radially dividing a circular plot from the center of a circle to the outermost divisional line and 24 direction columns produced by dividing a circular plot into angular segments of 15 degrees; and a rear surface defined by 19 layers and 24 direction columns. |
