A tying machine for stuffed products containing a paste such as salamis, wursts, sausages, or the like, but also salami comprising vegetables, said tying machine comprising a pair of jaws adapted to crimp or squeeze a casing filled with said paste and tying means adapted to realize one or more ties of a string or cord in correspondence with the crimped portions of the casing. Moreover, the tying machine comprises means adapted to advance the stuffed products along a predefined advancing direction and one more devices adapted to keep the stuffed products in a substantially resting condition. Said advancing means and said means for keeping the stuffed products in a substantially resting condition comprise gripping means adapted to alternatively exert a grip on the stuffed products. <IMAGE>
