PURPOSE: A power saving system is provided to minimize a power consumption by optimizing power cut-off and supply time through the use of a sensor for sensing environmental conditions including brightness and existence of person and infrared signal. CONSTITUTION: A power saving system comprises a signal converting unit for converting the current signal detected by an AC sensor into a value; a comparing unit for comparing the brightness information and reference value; and a micro processor for taking, as an input, output from the comparator, and controlling supply of power in accordance with the existence of remote controller signal and existence of human body. |
