PURPOSE: A method for controlling a transmit power applied to mobile communication is provided to check whether a packet is retransmitted, and to compare the checked packet with contents of an acknowledgement channel transmitted before receiving the packet. CONSTITUTION: A base station receives a packet and channel information through an R-RICH(Reverse Rate Indicator Channel)(S21), and decodes the information received through the R-RICH(S22). The base station checks an SPID(Sub Packet Identification) field to decide whether the packet is retransmitted or newly transmitted(S23). If the packet is newly transmitted, the base station checks whether contents of an F-CACKCH(Forward Common Acknowledgement Channel) refer to an acknowledgement or an NACK(Non Acknowledgement)(S24). If the contents refer to the acknowledgement, the base station reduces a transmit power of the F-CACKCH(S26). If the contents refer to the NACK, the base station increases the transmit power(S27), and transmits the channel to a terminal(S28). |
