LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY INCLUDING TOUCH SCREEN TO IMPROVE TRANSMISSIVITY

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) including a touch screen is provided to improve transmissivity of the LCD. CONSTITUTION: The first substrate of an LCD including a touch screen has a plurality of pixels(400) for displaying images. The plurality of pixels are arranged in a matrix form. Each pixel includes a display region(410) and a position sensing region(420) for sensing the position of an object coming into contact with the pixel. The position sensing region is located in close proximity to the display region. The second substrate of the LCD is formed on the first substrate and includes a color filter. A liquid crystal layer is interposed between the first and second substrates. A back light assembly is located under the first substrate and provides light to the first and second substrates.
