PURPOSE: A dust suction apparatus for an upright vacuum cleaner is provided to improve dust suction efficiency by injecting fluid into the outer circumference of a rotary brush. CONSTITUTION: A dust suction apparatus for an upright vacuum cleaner is composed of an exhaust returning hose(121) communicated with an exhaust port and returning part of exhausted fluid, and a fluid guide injection pipe(124) coupled to the front of a suction head(105). The fluid guide injection pipe includes a space(122), and a fluid injecting port(123) communicated with the space and installed toward the bottom of a rotary brush(109) so that fluid flows along the outer circumference of the rotary brush.
