PURPOSE: A key switch device is provided to achieve improved stability of operation of the device by preventing a displacement of rotary shaft of link and tilt of key top. CONSTITUTION: A key switch device comprises a key top(11) having a plurality of accommodating portions formed at the lower surface of the key top; a first link(12) having a pair of upper shafts(14) coupled to the part of the accommodating portions of the key top and a pair of lower shafts(13) arranged in the opposite side from the upper shafts; a second link member(16) coupled to the first link member, wherein the second link member has a pair of upper shafts(17) coupled to the other accommodating portion of the key top, a pair of lower shafts(18) arranged in the opposite side from the upper shafts, and a pair of bosses(19) interposed between the lower shafts; a support plate(20) having mounting pieces(21a,21b) for accommodating the lower shafts of the first and second link members, and slits(24) for accommodating the bosses such that the bosses are not movable in the axial directions of the lower shafts; and a membrane member(25) supported by the support plate, and which has a contact point where an elastic switch contacts.
