PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing seed crystal addition method beta type zeolite capable of reducing an environmental load as possible without using an organic structure control agent.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing beta type zeolite comprising a process where a reaction mixture including a silica source, an alumina source, an alkali source and water and seed crystals made of beta type zeolite are mixed, and the mixture is heated. As the seed crystals, beta type zeolite synthesized without using an organic structure control agent, and, in a grain size distribution by a laser diffraction scattering type grain size distribution measurement method, the volume standard of the grains with a grain size of 10 μm or lower is 90% or higher is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
