The system has a radio frequency tag (1) provided with a sensor that detects removal of the tag from an object (6) to be protected. The tag is connected by a wireless channel to receivers (7) comprising a radio reception antenna that is connected to a radio receiver (9). The receivers (7) are connected to security supervisor (12) using power line communication modems (10, 11) on a domestic electric network (14).
