<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera for selecting a best color parameter, a contour emphasis parameter, or an aperture in response to the number of people and the size of people by extracting the people. <P>SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with: an extract means for extracting a prescribed featured part from image data; a storage section for storing a plurality of color reproduction parameters to apply color reproduction to the entire image data; and a selection means for selecting a prescribed color reproduction parameter among a plurality of the color reproduction parameters stored in the storage section in response to the extraction result by the extract means.
