<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat of which the structure is simple, and also, can be constituted to be lightweight, and in addition, which can sufficiently protect a child. <P>SOLUTION: An airbag 40 is respectively provided on the internal side surfaces of the upper parts of right and left side guards 11 which face to the side parts of the head section of a child, and a hollow cushion 42 is provided on the external side surfaces of respective side guards 11. The airbag 40 and the cushion 42 are communicated through a communication port 100. At the communication port 100, a check valve 102 which allows a gas to circulate from the cushion 42 into the airbag 40 and prevents the gas from circulating in the opposite direction is provided. When a high load is applied to the cushion 42, the gas in the cushion 42 flows out into the air bag 40, and the airbag 40 expands in vicinities of the temples of the child.
