PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic electromagnetic conversion device which can shorten the entire length of the device, make the device compact and reduce weight. SOLUTION: A super-magnetic distortion element 2 uniting bias magnetic field generating magnets 3 and 4 is accommodated in a case 1. Also, a magnetic field generating coil 7 surrounding the super-magnetic distortion element 2 is accommodated in the case 1. A tube 15 whose one end is opened is provided at a spring supporting body 12. An oscillation transmission rod 8 for transmitting the elasticity of the super-magnetic distortion element 2 to a diaphragm 10 outside the case 1 is provided at the spring supporting body 12. The super-magnetic distortion element 2 uniting the magnets 3 and 4 is sandwiched between a fixed board 9 fixed to the open edge of the case 1 and the spring supporting body 12. The super-magnetic distortion element 2 and a coil 7 are covered with the tube 15. A coil-shaped compressed spring 13 is provided between a guard 15a provided in the tube 15 and the edge board 1b of the case 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
