PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle measuring instrument capable of preventing display contents from being misunderstood as the abnormality of the action of pointers is sensed when the pointers are rotated with a large action and are stored outside an electrooptic element display part. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle measuring instrument 10 has the electrooptic element display part 30, a plurality of the pointers 32, 33 rotatably provided and overlaid on at least part of the electrooptic element display part 30 and the plurality of the pointers 32, 33 are appropriately stored at outside of the electrooptic element display part 30. The electrooptic element display part 30 can be changed in a predetermined color and the pointers 32, 33 are stored after the electrooptic element display part 30 is changed in the same or similar color.
