PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a treatment agent safer to humans/livestock and the environment than conventional spreading-type agricultural/horticultural microbicides and affording surer effects, and also simple to apply, and to provide a treatment method using the agent. SOLUTION: A seed or the nutritive breeding body treatment agent comprises a compound( or a salt thereof ) of formula(I)[ wherein, A<SP>1</SP>is an aryl or heterocyclic group, or the like; X<SP>1</SP>is a chemical bond, methylene group or vinylene group, or the like; B<SP>1</SP>is a five-membered heterocyclic group or condensed heterocyclic group, or the like; Z<SP>1</SP>is a hydrocarbon group, acyl, formyl, amino, a group of the formula:N=CR<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>( R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each H or a hydrocarbon group, or the like ), a cyclic amino group, a group of the formula:OR<SP>3</SP>( R<SP>3</SP>is H, a hydrocarbon group, acyl, formyl or an alkylsulfonyl group, or the like ) or a group of the formula:S(O)<SB>n</SB>R<SP>4</SP>( (n) is an integer of 0-2; and R<SP>4</SP>is H or a hydrocarbon group, or the like )].
