<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for compensating the bias for correcting the accuracy of the sensor signals and adjusting the error tolerance level thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for correcting the accuracy of sensor signals estimates and corrects the bias of a sensor signal outputted from a sensor and comprises, as components, an LPF which allows a low frequency component of the sensor signal to pass therethrough, a determining part which determines whether the sensor is not in operation, a bias estimating part which estimates the bias included in the low frequency sensor signal outputted from the LPF according to the output signal of the determining part, and a subtracter which subtracts the bias estimated from the low frequency sensor signal according to the output signal of the determining part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
