PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional fiber structure different from conventional fiber structures, having good color development, durability and hand feeling after a functional processing and excellent in sustained release of medicinal agents. SOLUTION: This functional fiber structure contains nanoporous fiber having≤1.5% specific surface area of coarse pores having≥200nm diameter over the whole cross section of the fiber, and in addition, a functional material.
