PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pickup moving device capable of suppressing the excessive friction between a lead screw and a rack without requiring a complicated configuration when a pickup collides with a chassis and is prevented from moving, or the like. SOLUTION: This pickup moving device has an arm member 6 provided with an arm part 6a, one end of which is supported by a holder 1 holding the pickup and which has elasticity, and a rack part 6b provided at the other end of the arm part 6a. The rack part 6b has a regulating member which is engaged with the lead screw 3 to regulate the displacement of the arm part 6a in the direction of pressing the lead screw 3 in order to obtain this engagement state.
