PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nail clipper which makes nail care convenient by rasing the strength of a thrust operation lever 22 and moving the thrust operation lever 22 securely. SOLUTION: A nail clipper 1 is equipped with an upper blade 2, a lower blade 13 and a thrust operation lever 22. In the thrust operation lever 22, the whole upper wall 31 is closed in a vertical direction Z from a power point section 28 to a tip of the lever 22a, and an upper surface of the upper wall 31 is provided with uneven surface sections 39, 40 for preventing slippery and an indication display member which displays the direction of the thrust operation lever 22 to move, and a nail file 42 is formed in a lower surface of the upper wall 31. Sloping surfaces 37, 38 are connected mutually so that they can make the upper blade 2 guide the thrust operation lever 22 to non-use condition in the middle situation from use condition P to non-use condition. Upper/lower edges 9, 20 are formed concave or in sloping shape. The thrust operation lever 22 can be smoothly guided from a using state P to a non-using state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
