<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of providing a sure electric connection. <P>SOLUTION: This connector capable of storing a storage medium comprises a carrier 8 moving with insertion of the storage medium and a plurality of cantilever-shaped electric contacts 4 capable of forming an electric connection by the contact with the electric contact part of the storage media. The carrier has an inclined surface 15 cooperating with one end of the electric contact, and the electric contact retains a natural shape before the storage medium is inserted. When the storage medium is inserted to move the carrier, a free end 11 is moved along the inclined surface between the inclined surface and the surface having the electric contact part of the storage medium while keeping the contact with the inclined surface, and when the movement of the carrier ended, the electric contact is electrically connected to the electric contact part of the storage medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
