摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vascular elasticity measuring apparatus capable of obtaining a vascular arteriosclerosis index when bloodlessly measuring a blood pressure is performed. <P>SOLUTION: The vascular elasticity measuring apparatus has a pulse wave extraction means 17 for detecting a pulse waveΔp by subtracting a cuff pressure P<SB>0</SB>from the signal detected by a detection means 110 in a decompression process of a cuff 11 pressing a part of a living body, a standard waveform storing means 25 which maintains the cuff 11 at a prescribed pressure and stores the waveform detected by the detection means 110 as a standard waveform pi, and aΔV calculating means 29 for converting signals detected in a process for detecting the pulse waveΔp from a pressure unit to a volume unit by applying an elasticity characteristic function of the cuff 11 and the Boyle Charle's law and for obtaining the volume changeΔV of the cuff 11, aΔP calculating means 27 for obtaining a pressure differenceΔP between inside and outside which is the difference between an endovascular pressure Pi and the cuff pressure P<SB>0</SB>, wherein the endovascular pressure Pi is obtained by converting the unit by the lowest blood pressure Pd and the highest blood pressure Ps, and a comparison means 31 for obtaining a vascular elasticity rate by comparingΔV andΔP for each pulse waveΔp. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
