<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicular engine capable of controlling engine fuel injection stop more correctly according to traveling conditions and road surface conditions during vehicle traveling, and of improving the avoidance of fuel consumption at the time of slow decelerating operation of an engine during the vehicle traveling. <P>SOLUTION: An engine controller 1 for controlling the fuel injection stop of the engine producing driving force F according to a fuel control opening (accelerator opening Apo or throttle opening Tvo) is provided with a traveling resistance equivalent fuel control opening estimating means (S2) for gradually calculating the present traveling resistance D of the vehicle and gradually estimating a zero G equivalent opening (traveling resistance equivalent fuel control opening) equivalent to driving force F balanced with the traveling resistance D, a fuel control opening detecting means (S1) for detecting the fuel control opening of the vehicle, and fuel injection control means (S4, S5) for stopping fuel injection of the engine 2 when the fuel control opening detected by the fuel control opening detecting means is narrower than the traveling resistance equivalent fuel control opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
