<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor with improved sliding property and with high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: In the compressor, surfaces 8c, 8d of a swash plate 8 is relatively slid with flat faces 9c, 9d of shoes 9a, 9b. Slide films C31 are formed on the surfaces 8c, 8d of the swash plate 8.
