PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor microphone which can reduce the unevenness of the cut-off frequency in a low frequency range by improving the unevenness of an acoustic resistance due to the unevenness of the internal shape of a vent passage for communicating with the exterior through a back air chamber. SOLUTION: The capacitor microphone includes an insulating member 2 having the back electrode 3 on the inner peripheral surface of the housing 1 and fixed through a venting ring 5, and a back air chamber 8 formed together with a vibration diaphragm 4 extended with a tension to the edge part 1a of the housing 1. In the capacitor microphone, a venting channel 5a is formed by etching in the venting ring 5. A venting passage 9 to the exterior is formed from the back air chamber 8 by this venting channel 5a and a vent hole 1b opened at the side face of the housing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
