Collimation device of the type intended to direct an energy beam in a given direction and at a given solid angle, the collimation device being capable of being installed on output of an energy beam generating means and of being connected to a control unit. The collimation device includes means for testing operation of the assembly formed by the energy beam generating means, the collimation device and the control unit.
