<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical transmission module capable of achieving optical coupling to a light emitting element for monitoring with a simple structure without requiring high accuracy for assembling, and moreover being miniaturized without variation in optical coupling quantity caused by a change in temperature or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The optical transmission module 10 provided with a mount 1 on which a surface emission type light emitting element 7, the light emitting element 8 for monitoring, and an optical fiber 3 are fixed, and these surface emission type light emitting element 7, light emitting element 8 for monitoring, and optical fiber 3 are arranged so that the light from the surface emission type light emitting element 7 is made incident to an end face of the optical fiber 3, and leaky light leaking from the profile of the optical fiber is made incident to the light receiving element 8 for monitoring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
