PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silk fibroin powder of a wild silkworm and an indoor silkworm, utilizable as a water-insoluble macromolecular protein material capable of being processed and prepared for a cosmetic, a food, a medicine and a medical material by obtaining the stable silk fibroin powder hardly causing deterioration in high yield to effectively use and enlarge the application of the silk of the wild silkworm and the indoor silkworm. SOLUTION: The silk fibroin of the wild silkworm and the indoor silkworm is dissolved by adding a solution containing copper such as a copper ethylenediamine, copper oxide ammonia and an alkaline copper glycerol solution at 20-80°C, and an inorganic acid such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid and hydrochloric acid, or a fatty acid such as acetic acid, citric acid and tartaric acid is added to the dissolved silk protein solution to precipitate fine crystal precipitate.
