PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nail clippers that is easy even for a visually handicapped person to use and that can safely and securely clip nails without cutting to the quick even when you cut nails in a dark place or you cut child's nails. SOLUTION: The nail clippers has a fixed blade member of a curved plate form, curved into a concave to apply a fingertip thereto and in which an arc-shaped nail insertion groove is formed, and a cutting edge is formed at the inner lower edge of the nail insertion groove, and a movable blade member in which a curved surface is formed so as to make it slide up and down along the rear side of the fixed blade member, having a curved cutting edge corresponding to the cutting edge in the lower edge of the curved surface and designed to shear a nail projecting from the nail insertion groove by sliding down a curved cutting edge.
