The present invention relates to a method for operating a region color providing application for determining and providing region colors by collecting and analyzing pictures having position information and colorimetric information by region. A mobile terminal for utilizing picture information including region information of camera photographing, colorimetric information of a picture therefrom, and adjective information related thereto as a region color is connected, through a communications network, with an operation server for determining a region color through the picture information and a database for storing the picture information. The method for operating a region color providing application comprises: a first step of receiving transferred picture information including colorimetric information, region information, and adjective information of the mobile terminal through the communications network from the operation server, and dividedly storing the picture information by region through the region information which each piece of the picture information has in the database; a second step of determining, through the operation server, a region color of each region through the colorimetric information of the picture information stored in the database by region; and a third step of providing a display by picture, color, and adjective when an application operation signal or a contact signal of a mobile terminal is detected. |
