<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery forming a preferable film by removing impurities attached to the surface of a negative active material, and to provide a method for manufacturing the lithium secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery is equipped with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, and the nonaqueous electrolyte containing a free radical initiator, cyclic carbonate, and a solute is added to the positive electrode and the negative electrode to form a battery assembly, and the battery assembly is heated to manufacture the lithium secondary battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
