<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil seal which materializes improvement of sealing performance and durability. <P>SOLUTION: An oil seal 10 is equipped with a first seal 20 for sealing an engine side, and a second seal 30 for sealing a flywheel 4 side. The first seal 20 is an axial seal abutted to an inner ring 11 from a direction along an axial direction of a crank shaft 2. The second seal 30 serves as a radial seal abutted to the inner ring 11 from the direction along the radial direction of the crank shaft 2. Since the second seal 30 is configured by a plate-shaped PTFE, excellent sealing performance can be secured even in a radial seal requiring a certain amount of surface pressure, which leads to improvement of durability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
