<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of saving the capacity of a storage means. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with: a means to store variation pattern data set for every kind of pattern variation and regulating at least the performance contents of the pattern variation; and a means for variably displaying patterns on a pattern display device according to variation pattern data selected according to a drawing result from among a plurality of pieces of variation pattern data stored in the storing means. Then, pattern variation comprises a plurality of pieces of pattern variation stop-displaying combined patterns regulated by at least two kinds of patterns consisting of a reference pattern and a first pattern decided by a pattern deviation from the reference pattern.
