<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which is effectively made thinner in shape by retreating part of a photographic lens to an appropriate position when a lens barrel is collapsed, in a digital camera for generating an image signal by catching object-light with a solid-state imaging device. <P>SOLUTION: A rear group lens 112 is rotated between a position on the optical axis and a retreat position close to a recessed part 104 beside the CCD solid-state imaging element 120, and a focus lens 113 is rotated between a position on the optical axis and a retreat position close to a part 106 beside the front group lens. When the lens barrel is to be collapsed, the rear group lens 112 is accommodated into the recessed part 104 and the focus lens 113 is accommodated into the part 106 beside the front group lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
