PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductive cable capable of effectively reducing AC loss by suppressing deterioration of current characteristics and a cost increase. SOLUTION: A plurality of superconductive wires are wound around the outside of a core material (former 10) in a multi-layered condition to form this superconductive cable. Twist wires 22-24, 41 having spiral superconductive filaments and non-twist wires 21, 42 having linear super conductive filaments are both used for the superconductive wire. AC loss can be effectively reduced by applying the twist wires 22-24, 41 to layers where a magnetic field applied is great and low loss effect can be expected because the wires are twisted, and by using non-twist wires 21, 42 for other layers.
