A silver halide color photographic material excellent in color forming property and wet heat image fastness comprising at least one compound represented by formula (I) in any layer formed on a support: <IMAGE> (I) wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently represent branched chain unsubstituted alkyl groups each having 3 to 20 carbon atoms with the proviso that the total carbon number of R1, R2, R3 and R4 is 16 to 60.
