PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in such a system that the user of an apparatus A sets the name of an apparatus B for communications and retrieves the address of the apparatus B from the set of the names and addresses held by the apparatus A, but the user cannot utilize the apparatus B if the address of the apparatus B changes, and it is troublesome to register the set of the name and address. SOLUTION: A camera A104 detects the identification information of a telephone A101 and registers the identification information of the telephone A101 and own address in an address retrieval server 107. A camera B105 requests the address server 107 to retrieve the address of the camera A104, based on the identification information of the telephone A101 being a communication party of a telephone B102.
