PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively and efficiently record the sound data as they are while distributing the sound data to a plurality of CD-RWs without making a user aware of the recording capacity of a CD-RW of an output destination and without breaking the continuity of the sound data. SOLUTION: When CD-RWs with a prescribed recording capacity are selected as an output destination and the sound data with a plurality of tracks as one lump are distributed to a plurality of CD-RWs to be recorded, the output data are divided at breaks of optional tracks on the basis of data capacity of each track and recording capacity of one CD-RW, and the output data are distributed to the plurality of CD-RWs at the divided breaks of the optional tracks to be recorded.
