A cosmetic composition for caring for and/or making up the skin, lips and/or superficial body growths which is notably translucent or transparent and/or which is capable of giving a translucent or transparent coat includes at least one liquid fatty phase or at lest one one water-immiscible organic phase, with the phase being structured by at least an effective amount of exfoliated phyllosilicate derived from at least one intercalated phyllosilicate.
