PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase durability by suppressing the wear of a sealing device and the rise of torque. SOLUTION: This rolling bearing comprises the contact type sealing device having a rubber seal and a core formed by disposing a plurality of rolling elements between an outer ring and an inner ring and bringing a seal lip into contact with a raceway. A film formed of SiCpNq (all real numbers of 10<SP>-5</SP>< p < 10<SP>5</SP>and 10<SP>-5</SP>< q < 10<SP>5</SP>) is formed on at least the contact face of the raceway in contact with the seal lip.
