<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating exhaust gas, by which dioxins in the exhaust gas can be decomposed oxidatively in high efficiency by using activated water. <P>SOLUTION: A flow straightening unit 2 provided with a horizontal direction adjusting unit 21 and a vertical direction adjusting unit 22 is arranged in an exhaust gas introducing part 11 of a main body 1 of this apparatus. The flow of the exhaust gas to be treated is straightened by the straightening unit 2, which is then introduced into an exhaust gas treatment chamber 12. An exhaust gas treating agent preparing unit provided with an ozone gas nozzle, a throat, a hydrogen peroxide orifice, a water orifice, a reaction cylinder, a water mixing nozzle and a nozzle hole is arranged in the chamber 12 so that the activated water prepared from the ozone to be supplied through an ozone gas flow passage, the hydrogen peroxide to be supplied through a hydrogen peroxide flow passage and the water to be supplied through a water flow passage is sprayed toward the flow-straightened exhaust gas to be treated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
