PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wire pay-out device for reducing the number of parts and weight in a deployment mechanism of a tension structure. SOLUTION: In this wire pay-out device, a rotor with rotatable pins arranged on an outer periphery at equal intervals is installed coaxially with a support shaft of a wire drum, and a roller gear cam formed with spiral grooves fitted with the pins of the rotor is installed on the outer periphery in an axial direction perpendicular to the support shaft of the wire drum. A motor is coupled with a rotary shaft of the roller gear cam, and a crimp roller is mounted to the other end side of the rotary shaft of the roller gear cam, so that the wire wound around the wire drum and contemporarily attached is paid out through the crimp roller.
